When emails don’t sync between Outlook and your online account, it’s often due to outdated authentication or connection settings.
For Microsoft 365 users, go to File → Account Settings → Server Settings and ensure your account uses Exchange or OAuth authentication.
For Gmail, enable IMAP in Gmail Settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP, then create an App Password if 2FA is on.
If syncing is still inconsistent, remove and re-add your account, or run Outlook → File → Office Account → Update Options → Update Now.
