You don’t always need fancy software to make your PC fly. Windows has all the tools you need built right in.
Here are 5 smart tweaks to boost performance:
- Disable startup programs → Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc → Startup tab. Disable anything unnecessary.
- Clean up storage → Use Storage Sense under Settings → System → Storage to automatically delete temp files.
- Check background apps → Turn off unneeded ones in Settings → Privacy → Background apps.
- Adjust visual effects → In System Properties → Performance Settings, choose “Adjust for best performance.”
- Keep Windows updated → Updates often include performance and security fixes.
Do these once every few months — your PC will feel like new again.
