Multitasking is much easier when you know how to snap windows side-by-side.
- Windows + Left Arrow – Snap window to the left half of your screen
- Windows + Right Arrow – Snap it to the right
- Windows + Up Arrow – Maximize
- Windows + Down Arrow – Minimize
If you’re on Windows 11, you can also hold Windows + Z to open the Snap Layouts menu — it lets you neatly organize 2, 3, or even 4 apps on your screen.
Once you get used to snapping windows with the keyboard, your mouse will start to feel slow.
